At Pure Athena, we believe women deserve better - better answers, better care, and better products that actually support the way their bodies were designed to thrive.

Our story began not in a boardroom or a lab, but around our family kitchen table. Like many women, my mother began struggling with unexpected symptoms when she entered menopause. What we assumed would be a natural phase of life quickly turned into a frustrating, isolating experience. Doctors had few answers. Most of the products on the shelf felt generic or filled with ingredients we couldn’t pronounce. And worst of all, no one was talking about it.

So we started asking questions. And we didn’t stop.

We dove into the science of menopause, hormones, and the ingredients that touch our bodies every day. What we found was eye-opening: many of the hormone-disrupting compounds affecting women’s well-being were hiding in plain sight, especially in personal care products. From preservatives to synthetic fragrances, these everyday exposures were working against her body at a time when she needed extra support.

What started as a personal mission to help our mother quickly grew into something much bigger. We became students of holistic wellness, traditional practices, clinical research, and clean formulation.

We weren’t looking for hype, we were looking for what actually works.

And after years of learning, testing, and formulating, Pure Athena was born.
