  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 3 cups water or almond milk (for creamier texture)
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed OR chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries or fruit (blueberries, raspberries, apricots, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Steel-Cut Oats: In a medium saucepan, bring the water or almond milk to a boil. Add the steel-cut oats and a pinch of sea salt. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 20-30 minutes (or following package instructions), stirring occasionally until the oats are tender and the liquid is absorbed.

  2. Mix in Superfoods: Once the oats are cooked, stir in the chia seeds, ground flaxseed, cinnamon, and maca powder (if using). Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture is well combined and thickened.
